Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland is a model and actor. Following her feature film debut by playing a minor role in the Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to portray the an archaeologist who is sympathetic to Nazis, Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). The other roles she played include Siobhan Donavan as Charlotte in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) Charlotte in Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery in Major League II (1994). Doody started modeling after being approached by a professional photographer. It led to an impressive modeling career in the commercial world. Doody was averse to glamour and nude work. This was a principle that she incorporated into her acting. After being noticed by the directors of casting for the James Bond new film, Doody acted in a tiny portion of Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody was named one of the 12 most promising new Actors of 1986 in John Willis Screen World, Vol. 38. Doody She was just 18 when she portrayed Doody in the film A Prayer to the Dying (1987) which starred Mickey Rourke. Doody is the youngest Bond Girl to date. A Prayer for the Dying starring Mickey Rourke also had a part for Doody as IRA Siobhan. Doody was a silent actor in a 1987 film adaptation from The Secret Garden, playing Archibald Craven's dream bride Lilias. The Storyteller episode from 1988 featured her in the lead role in Sapsorrow, alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. The year 1988 was the first time she appeared as Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. The most memorable performance to date was her role as Austrian Nazi sympathizer and archaeologist Doctor Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody has collaborated with three James Bond actors. Doody appeared in the 1991 British miniseries Selling Hitler with Jonathan Pryce. The film was based on The Hitler Diaries publication scam. In Hollywood Doody moved to. She went on as Flannery the agent of Charlie Sheen and her girlfriend on the set of Major League II. She was selected as the replacement for Cybill Shepherd, who was L'Oreal's first spokeswoman. However, that project eventually stalled. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. She starred in We Still Kill the Old Way which was a film from 2014. On 21 November 2018 she received the Almeria tierra de cine award as well as the honor of a star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
